Wonder Woman Poster

Felt like doing some poster art. I adore Wonder Woman, but despite several attempts I've never been able to do a satisfactory piece of fan art. Since I also like poster art and design, I decided to merge the two.

Heh. Two pieces of art within the span of a day. Not bad for me. (Also...Illustrator export to Photoshop options...really suck.)

Sorta Deco

I'm planning on redoing my art portfolio site, and I wanted to go with an Art Deco theme, to get away from the 50's drive-in theme I have going now (which I kind of re-purposed for this blog). This didn't turn out the way I wanted, but oh well. He was going to be shrunk down as a design element, so most of the effort I put into him would have been lost anyway.

Art update!

Wow, such an original title. 8D Anyhoos, I finished this one  September 5th. Honestly, if I could get away with grayscale value paintings all the time, I would. They're just much more fun for me. You can see the same guy as seen here.

Decided to do some color painting practice last night. This was done fairly quickly by my standards, but I like it. :3 My OC Ariel.

Tokka

Commission for my brother-in-law of his Pathfinder character, a half-elf barbarian named Tokka. I got to design her outfit and weapon, which was fun. There need to be more Art Deco swords in the world. :D

The first rule of Pug Club...

...is to tell everyone about Pug Club. 8D

One of my sisters has a pug named Ellis, and takes him to a "pug club" out where she lives in Montana. I thought this was too adorable an opportunity to pass up, and made a pug illustration for t-shirts I will have printed as a birthday/wedding present for her and her fiancee. The "Pug Club" bone is supposed to go on the front of the t-shirt as a small logo. The dog will be on the back (and will be much larger).

Done in Illustrator, for once. The font is hand-drawn, obviously based on the "Fight Club" logo. :B

Red Destiny

Painted character concept, based on this character concept, though I did make a few minor changes. I spent so much time on this piece, I nearly gave up a few times. He fought me every step of the way. In the end I like the way he turned out...even if he did make me pull my hair out.

I would also be a faster painter if the internet didn't exist. >_>;
